Okay so this is my very first post. Milestone.
So first things first, ill explain what I'm all about.
Firstly – I am an internet shopping addict. Or – more accurately – I am an eBay addict. There, I have admitted it. It wasn’t so hard? My boyfriend would be so proud right now! ‘Then you should give it up’ he’d say. I’d say ‘Seriously, not going to happen’. I will never forget the day my mother introduced me to the most amazing thing in my life. I thought the whole thing was super daggy – but put in a bid on a pair of black flared billabong pants just in case. Unfortunately for me (or actually – considering they were BLACK FLARED BILLABONG PANTS fortunate is probably a better word) I was outbid at $15.66 with 20 seconds to go. That was my first taste of the internet shopping world – and I was hooked. Ten years (and 1244 positive feedbacks later) my eBay addiction and I are still going strong. My infatuation with eBay has become one of my most infamous traits – that and the size of my wardrobe. And with the introduction of the i-phone, it is right there whenever I need a fix. My eBay app politely sends me little reminders that something is ending, that a purchase has been posted (yippee – another delivery!) whilst collecting all the new items from all my saved sellers for my perusal so I don’t miss a thing. Genius.
Another life changing moment was my introduction to fashion blogs. This revelation came from a very like-minded friend who was amazed I hadn’t signed myself up for every RSS feed imaginable. So next day I was hooked up to them all – and have never looked back. Who what wear, lookbook, starstyleinc – I love. But what this opened me up to was a whole world of celebrity fashion – and I wanted in. Yes, I looked at all the 'celeb style' pages.. but Sportsgirl's polyester version of Winter Kate's silk kimono just didn't cut it. I wanted the real thing - but where could I get it, and, more importantly, how would I ever afford it?? One fateful day I stumbled across Nicole Richie wearing an amazing tie-dye halter maxi dress (okay so this was in THAT boho stage) and I HAD to have it. I was obsessed, and the search was on. It was like a treasure hunt – every clue got me closer and closer to the prize. I found out the designer – Love Tanjane. Plugging this into eBay – nothing. Plugging this into the web - found - love tanjane official website. Sold out - my dress. Plugging this into eBay worldwide – and BINGO. There is was – the EXACT love tanjane dress worn by Nicole Richie – buy it now $110USD. I hit that button quicker than you can say ‘express post’ – and within a week Nicole and I could be twins. Next obsession on the agenda - Olivia Palermo’s Kate Moss for Topshop fringed embroidered jacket – got it $140AUD ebay; then THE J-Brand Houlihan cargos as seen on everyone – got them $125USD Ebay, brand new. Trust me – the list goes on.
The proof is in the pudding:
WOOP.
So basically what I want to do here is enlighten the masses. The fashion you dream of is here at your fingertips. You CAN have Olivia’s EXACT wardrobe without spending a fortune. Forget cheap chain store copy-chic - its designer labels all the way baby! And that doesn't mean spending 12 hours straight searching the net for that elusive piece... leave the fun stuff to me! I can think of nothing better than spending all my free time trawling every online shopping site for the item of your desire (NOT sarcasm I promise!). All you need to do is click on the ‘specification form’ above.. fill in all the required deets and then sit back. Relax – that’s your part done! Check your email in oh about a week and there will be a gorgeous product package waiting for you – providing you with all the info you need to make your dream purchase. Ready?
DO IT! You know you want it!
FFIFY x
OH and ill also be blogging about the searches I'm undertaking – totally anonymous of course – as well as amazing finds that I see in my online travels that SOMEONE (and not me L - well maybe some things – ill be posting about those too!) just has to buy! There are such amazing bargains out there just waiting for someone to snap them up.. I just cannot let them go to waste and need to share them with all of you! So bookmark me and keep coming back for more xx
