So I was perusing ebayland last night *surprise surprise
I know* and mentally composed an outfit
constructed entirely of Alexander Wang garments.
Here:
TOP – Alexander Wang lemongrass knit jumper. Current bid $200.
PANTS – Alexander Wang mocha cropped pants. Buy it now $125.
JACKET
- Alexander Wang Zippered wool and cashmere coat. Buy it Now $550.
SHOES
– Alexander Wang ‘Nastasha’ leopard print heels. Current bid $390.
BAG – Alexander Wang ‘Kristen’ multi strap bag. Current bid $163.49.
TOTAL COST for maximum Alexander
Wangeriffic action = $1428.49.
The bag alone is $850.. so there is a massive saving to be
had here ladies. LOVE that lemongrass
jumper (making me feel like thai food) and how it matches in with the POP of
yellow on the sleeves of the coat. And
those shoes are TDF. Maybe I just need
the shoes and jumper.. but then how can I not get the matching coat? And then those pants are so cheap as well…
SO I was on eBay last night as all of my items were
ending. Sold 10 out of 13 items… not a
bad result; rake in just under $800. Not
bad for items I had lying around; feeling unused and unwanted. They are now off to good homes, where they
will be loved and appreciated just like they deserve. How lovely.
What to do with all this cash is the next question?!
WELL – its actually pretty much all gone. 3 items ended early with buy it now options..
and that is what has paid for the last few purchases and a must have delivery
of moisturiser and L’Occitane shampoo and conditioner from Strawberry net. And then, straight after all my items ended
last night I snapped up this. It was 12:47
am and I was bargaining with a lovely girl on the other side of the country..
to buy THIS:
A Carla Zampatti goddess dress. Yes, it is a potential wedding dress. No I am not engaged. I am simply pre-planning to ensure when the
time comes I am fully prepared just in case it is a shotgun wedding down at the
local registry. Okay so that is definitely
not going to be the case, but really I just saw it and knew it would be perfect
for when the time comes. And yes - I bought it online. OFF EBAY. I know this will feak some people out - but really would you expect any less? This, I must
add, is not actually the first *potential wedding dress* I have bought
online. This is currently number
three. The problem with buying them so
far in advance is that I tend to get sick of them quite quickly, and then find
something else I much prefer. And being such a sucker for a bargain, I
cannot pass up the opportunity when an amazing dress presents itself at an
amazing price – I MUST buy.
I know I am weird. But
hey. Hopefully there will be a ring on
it shortly – as I really don’t want to get sick of this one just yet.
Today’s outfit.
Today I have gone for a bold red, black and animal print
combo, which definitely packs a
punch. Today includes Sass and Bide
leopard print silk blazer ($75 eBay – just don’t wear this enough. It is totally hot and works so well with
colour clashing and mixing prints), worn over a tomato red rayon tee from
Sussan ($35 on sale Sussan – fab colour and such an easy to wear shape. There is an electric blue version in store
still, perhaps I should also snap that bad boy up) – love the clash between the
two colours. All worn over the Neon
Blonde black shiny jeggings and some fab Hoss tan suede ankle boots. Then decided a big fat NO to the boots and
added the new Tony Bianco black peep toe leather wedges instead – just to add a
bit of smart business casual to the look.
Done.
Delivery alert:
SO we have the spliced tan Trenery wedges (fab) and the
risk-taking Sass and Bide shiny jeans…. Which are THE RIGHT ONES! Awesome –
love it when you take a punt and it pays off (as admittedly I have an entire
wardrobe of risky items which have most certainly NOT paid off). YAY.
Watch out for tomorrow.. already building amazing outfits in my head....
Looks like it’s going to be a great day. I love clothes.
