SAMPLE SALE ALERT.
OH yes - get excited findettes! Dion Lee may have unfortunately cancelled their MBFW show.. but here is the perfect chance to OWN some of their fabulous items rather than just watching them go past out of reach on a runway. I know which option I prefer! Keep an eye out for his amazing sharp tailored blazers, or one of his fashion forward eye-popping printed cocktail dresses. I hope this baby is there:
Or if not - this one would do just fine:
Either either. Loving the abstract Rorschach print.
Interested? Starting this friday - check it out here:
So - look what I snapped up last night. For some reason.. it went R E A L L Y cheap... ??
For those clever readers out there who have memorised my wardrobe (and that would be just about all of you I am sure), you would already be exclaiming 'BUT she already owns that jacket! What is she thinking?' Well precious readers, you are absolutely correct - I do own this jacket. In the most fabulous black colourway. I bought it on eBay about a year ago - where I was unknowingly bargaining with the new buyer that had just started at my previous place of employment. It cost me $250.. which I thought (for a Husk leather jacket) was an absolute bargain. I love its drapiness and raw super soft leather. So when I saw the cream version pop up on eBay.. my interest was piqued. Loving a nude colour and always on the hunt for more leather jackets; I watched this one with anticipation. It ended last night (smack bang in the middle of the Voice... LUCKILY I was paying attention or I would have missed it completely. Did I mention I LOVE the Voice?).. there was ten mins to go and it was at $61. $61!! That would have to be the bargain of the century... it has only been worn twice. So I waited until the last couple of minutes and did a sneaky bid.. and YEOWWWWW.. I nabbed that baby for $89.55. OH yes, lets hear that again - EIGHTY NINE FIFTY FIVE. Woot.
Will look super fab with my cream vintage brogues which arrived yesterday.. OH it is all falling wonderfully into place. Love it.
Moving along to today's outfit. Black, white and blue - hang on.. that sounds a bit like a bruise... well apart from the white part but then if we were talking about a bruise on my skin then white would defintiely be a colour that is involved...
Have you noticed that there is more and more photos each day of 'todays outfit'? Need to cull this back - short and sharp wins the race. But as you might have noticed from my rather long and rambling posts that I am not very good at 'trimming the fat' - the more details the merrier.
Today's outfit features a mix of prints.. stars and stripes and all things nice. Zara star print blazer ($35 eBay), worn over a Trenery pearl and black spliced zip detail tee ($30 eBay). These are then worn over a cobalt blue, light grey and black striped Witchery pencil skirt ($20 Camberwell market - bargain buy alert), and then is all finished off with a knotted skinny tan belt and Tony Bianco tan cut out wedges. Viola! All together - outfit would have cost me around $150 max.... how can you beat that??
Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. No No NO! *insert headslap here* I just remembered!
Alas -this weekend is my darling Dad's birthday.. and I promised I would go home. And - and this is the really sad part - that home is 3 hours away from Melbourne, which means I will be THREE HOURS AWAY FROM THE DION LEE SAMPLE SALE. Oh.
Guess I shan't be attending. WAH.
Snap up some bargains for me?
